David’s Aquariums is a mobile maintenance service, going to homes or businesses on a regular basis to keep aquariums clean and healthy. We service most of our customers monthly. Some high-end reef tanks are serviced every two weeks. Small fresh-water tanks require servicing every four to six weeks depending on what is in the tank and lighting.
From a young age David was an avid aquarium enthusiast. His first job was in a tropical fish store taking care of their tanks. He quickly was promoted to join the store’s maintenance service. He also worked for a tropical fish wholesaler before starting David’s Aquariums in 2006.
Most of David’s clients have reef tanks with living coral, his specialty. He raises coral in his fish room and has begun selling coral by appointment in his show room in West Orange, New Jersey and shipping them nationwide.
David provides outstanding, personalized service to his clients. He takes great pride in his work and has a genuine interest that the tanks he maintains are healthy and attractive. He sees his work as living pieces of art. David considers his work “the Picassos of reef tanks.”
